Technical Business Analyst – Grupo ABANS

Job Description:

We welcome passionate warriors and are currently looking for an Technical Business Analyst who will help develop cutting edge applications for millions of customers.

The main purpose of this role is to guide a feature from the early stages of product analysis all the way through to operative handover and launch in Production. Therefore you will discuss new requirements with Product Management to understand the vision and the value of new features and roadmap items. You will then apply your technical expertise as well as your broad knowledge of the online gaming domain to define detailed requirements and discuss solution scenarios with technology specialists and the Scrum teams. After creating an aligned delivery plan you will work closely with the development teams to manage the delivery, further detail requirements and do proper stakeholder communication.

What you can expect from us and your role:

Discussing new requirements and roadmap items with Product Management and other business stakeholders to understand and develop the vision of the product

Making sure that our products and platforms are compliant with local regulation

Managing the team's backlog based on stakeholder inputs and considering project delivery timelines

Defining detailed functional and technical requirements by creating feature specifications and user stories

Leading the implementation of software solutions from early investigation and estimation til launch to production

Working closely together with a number of functional teams in an agile environment; managing dependencies between teams and their deliverables

Requirements:

Professional English communication skills – written and spoken – required. Spanish is a plus

What we expect from you:

Several years of experience as Business Analyst (or in a similar role) ideally with experience in the online gaming domain

Technical background and good understanding of software development lifecycle

Experience of running complex projects in an agile software development environment

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into detailed requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to facilitate meetings and technical workshops efficiently

Communicative, collaborative personality with hands-on mentality

Expert Jira and Confluence User

Ability to quickly adapt to change (customer behaviour, tech disruption, business goals)

Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work

Attention to details without losing speed of execution.

Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Availability and attitude to work extra time (weekends included) if it is needed.
